Ireland (Part 1).....

Morgan helped edit and caption her trip to Ireland. The trip and pictures will be split up over 5 days. Enjoy.

The view from Morgan's hotel in Dublin. Her first night in Ireland!

This is the tourist info bldg in downtown Dublin. Obviously a former church.

One of the oldest bldgs and pubs in Dublin. And the flowers--because of the climate in Ireland, overcast and drizzly, the flowers and plants grow to massive sizes!

The Regency in Dublin--her first night.

Morgan's first night in Ireland included Shepherd's Pie for dinner and watching the big soccer match with some members of a local Dublin team. This was her first Guiness in Ireland.

St. Patrick statue at the Hills of Tara. A famous landmark where St. Patrick, thousands of years ago, first used the shamrock and it's 3 leaves to explain to pagans about the holy trinity--the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. He converted many to Christianity at this spot.

There is a gorgeous church on the grounds at the Hills of Tara. The cemetery was just classic and beautiful.

Oh my--there are a lot of sheep in Ireland. Just everywhere.

baaaaaaaaaaaa.....

Ireland is an island of rock. When tilled for the time hundreds and thousands of years ago, the first landowners saved the rock and built these gorgeous fences. They are 'dry set'. There is no concrete or dirt holding the rocks in place. Just good engineering!

The church on the Hills of Tara

The classic Celtic cross with the sun ringed thru it.

Trim Castle on the River Boyne. This is the castle that Mel Gibson used in the movie "Braveheart".

uh.....I didn't wanna ask what caused this.....

....another view of Trim Castle. Just sooo massive.

Until the next time.....
